LUANG PRABANG - HALF DAY CITY TOUR (L, D)
Arrival at Luang Prabang International Airport. Welcome by your local guide and driver. Transfer to hotel to freshen up.
Bicycle-tour to see some of the highlights of Luang Prabang: the Royal Palace Museum, which hosts a range of interesting artifacts from the Royal period in Luang Prabang, the magnificent Wat Xiengthong with its roof sweeping low to the ground, representing classical Lao architecture, the impressive stupa of Wat Visoun and the shrine of Wat Aham.
Free in the evening to self-explore the town and night market /or/ relax at the hotel.Overnight in Luang Prabang

BIG BROTHER - BAN KHIA LUANG - PAK OU (B, L, D)
Short visit at the Big Brother Mouse shop in town to select some children’s books for our village visit today. Coach trip along Route 13, before taking an unpaved road to Ban Khia Luang. Time to visit the school, play with the kids and watch them enjoy their new books. You will also see the village women at their weaving looms and visit the local temple.
For lunch we have a choice of a western picnic lunch /or/ a traditional Lao meal of sticky rice, laap and fresh vegetables cooked by the villagers.
Leaving the village, coach trip to Ban Khoklin through some beautiful mountain sceneries and paddy fields. At Ban Khoklin embark a 30-minute cruise down the Nam Ou River to reach Pak Ou Caves, an ancient pilgrimage site with thousands of gold lacquered Buddha images left there over hundreds of years.
Continuing down the Mekong River to be back late to Luang Prabang. Overnight in Luang Prabang

LUANG PRABANG - KUANGSI WATERFALL (B, L, D)
After breakfast, coach trip to KuangSi Waterfall, stop en route to visit the morning Phousi Market, where all the locals of Luang Prabang used to do their daily shopping. You will see a variety of local foodstuffs and products including dried buffalo skin, local tea and saltpeter among the chickens, fish, vegetables and fruit, everything needed for daily life in Laos.
On arrival at the KuangSi Falls you will have the opportunity to cool off with a refreshing swim in the topaz pools below the falls, walk along the forest trails and visit the Bear Sanctuary.
Return to Luang Prabang. Free time to explore /or/ relax at the hotel. Overnight in Luang Prabang.

LUANG PRABANG - XIENG KHOUANG (B, L, D)
Early departure for a drive through spectacular sceneries to Xiengkhouang Province, the home of the Plain of Jars. There are many stunning photo opportunities along the way and a couple of stops to explore hill tribe villages. After checking in at your hotel in Phonsavan, there will be time to visit the MAG Centre or chill out over a drink at the hotel.
Overnight in Xiengkhouang.

PLAIN OF JARS & MUANGKHOUN (B, L, D)
Exploring the Plain of Jars by visiting Sites 1, 2 & 3, as well as taking a short trek to a Tai Dam and Lao Leum village along the way.
After lunch coach trip to the old capital of Muang Khoun and the nearby villages, home to the Hmong hill tribe and Tai Dam people. Overnight in Xiengkhouang.

XIENG KHUANG - VANG VIENG (B, L, D)
On the way to Vang Vieng, visit the interesting Phonsavan Central Market and then continue to Vang Vieng.
Estimated arrival at midafternoon.
After checking in at your hotel, self-exploration the town /or/ relax at the hotel and enjoy the stunning views as the sun sets behind the limestone karst mountains across the river. Overnight in Vang Vieng.

VANG VIENG - HALF DAY TOUR (B, L, D)
Visit the famous caves of Tham Jang, which were once used by local people as a hideout from Chinese invaders, then cross the river to Ban Huai Ngai, where you can wander through the village and observe the locals in their daily life.
At the Organic Farm you will have the opportunity to visit goats, pigs and other wildlife, observe mud brick making and sample roasted goat cheese and mulberry wine. After lunch, coachtrip to Vientiane. Arrival before sunset. Overnight in Vientiane.

VIENTIANE - HALF DAY CITY TOUR (B, L, D)
Half-day city tour: Wat Sisaket, with its thousands of miniature Buddha statues, and the former royal temple of Wat Prakeo, which housed the famous Emerald Buddha Image, That Luang Stupa, stop en route to take some photos of the imposing Patuxay Monument, which is Vientiane’s own Arc de Triumph.
PM: Free for self-exploration, go shopping, take a stroll along the waterfront or relax at the hotel. Overnight in Vientiane.

VIENTIANE - PAKSE - 4000 ISLANDS (B, L, D)
Transfer to airport for early flight to Pakse. Upon arrival, coach trip to Champassak: visit the fascinating pre-Angkorian ruins of Wat Phou, one of Southeast Asia's most dramatically situated temples. Time to explore the intriguing Khmer ruins, perched at the base of Mount Phu Kao.
After lunch, coach trip then embark a long tail boat to Khone Island in the 4000 Islands area, where you have the rest of the day to relax. Overnight in Khone Island.

4000 ISLANDS AND SURROUNDING (B, L, D)
After an early morning breakfast, explore Khone Island, by retracing the French colonial-past at Ban Khone with some old colonial houses and the first Lao railway with its own locomotive.
Boat cruise to visit the beautiful Liphi waterfall, also known as the Samphamith, which forms a natural border between Lao and Cambodia.
Return to Ban Nakasang and drive to the famous waterfall of Khone Phapheng - the largest waterfall in South East Asia, also known as the 'Niagara of the East'. Overnight in Khone Island.

4000 ISLANDS - TAD LO - PAKSE (B, L, D)
Coach trip to the refreshing mountain climate on the Bolaven Plateau, famous for its waterfalls. Visit two famous waterfalls: Tad Fan, with its impressive twin falls cascading over 100 meters to the valley floor below and Tad Ngeuan, with its pristine pools for taking a refreshing dip at the coffee shop and plantation where you can sample some real Lao coffee.
Along the way you will see the rich soils of the region being cultivated for coffee, tea, cardamom, bananas, and other crops before returning to Pakse in late afternoon. Overnight in Pakse.

PAKSE - DEPARTURE (B)
After breakfast, transfer to Pakse Airport for departure. End of services.
